As you are aware there is now a gradual relaxing of the COVID regulations for face to face examinations.
We are working with the University to develop a checklist as guidance to allow you to hold face to face examinations in premises for which there is a formal COVID Safe plan in place.
You will be notified when this has been signed off and the guidelines will be sent to you which should be in the next few days.
In the meantime the remote assessments remain in place and our thanks to those who have been conducting these.

We are seeking permission from the University to re-commence small group face to face examinations for marine radio, subject to a revised set of guidelines. We hope that permission will be granted shortly, but as this is an exception to our current guidelines, this will take a little time.
We understand that your local advice may be different, but as you will appreciate, we are the responsible body for the examinations. We thank you for your understanding; but for the time being please continue to conduct all exams remotely.

Please remember that under our Deed of Agreement with the ACMA we have 15 working days to process a completed application. Usually we do much better than that (about 7 working days) depending on when your examination is received by the office. Certificates are printed on a Thursday, consequently completed applications received up until Wednesday will be in that week’s certificate print.
